Hospitals have nurses.  Veterinary hospitals have veterinary
technicians, sometimes shortened to "techs".  A Registered
Veterinary Technician (RVT) has completed a focused course of
study, and graduated from an accredited school, with an Associate
of Science Degree in Veterinary Technology.  Following graduation,
the student must pass a state board, only then do they receive
the title of Registered Veterinary Technician.

In addition to patient care, technicians are also educated in
radiology, critical care, laboratory proceedures, post-operative
care, dentistry and anesthesia just to name a few.

We are proud to have some of the best technicians in the area.
Our technicans have worked with us for many years, and are
encouraged to pursue their special interests, and attend
continuing education.  In this way our patients get the best
care possible.
